Welcome to our practice! We are a multi-doctor ambulatory veterinary practice and provide care to our equine and camelid patients seven days a week and 24 hours a day. Service on nights and weekends is on an emergency basis and carries an additional charge. Routine appointments are available weekdays and some Saturdays when scheduled in advance. Our veterinarians provide comprehensive care to all types of equines as well as camelids, and we also offer acupuncture, chiropractic and cold laser services.

Please be aware that our office is not currently staffed to answer the phone regularly. We hope to change this situation in the future; meanwhile you will likely interact with an answering machine. Please leave a message regarding your needs and one of us will get back to you as soon as possible. We strive to return calls within 24 hours but due to the nature of our work it may take us a business day or two for a doctor to return your call. If you have an emergency or pressing question regarding your animal, please don’t hesitate to call our emergency number to have the veterinarian on call paged. While we don’t schedule routine appointments via the emergency service, we always want to answer your questions or concerns if you are uncertain what to do in a medical situation.

Client patient form – We are working to collect a completed version of this form for each of our clients to have on file. It gives us permission to treat your animal in case of a life threatening emergency when you cannot be reached and outlines our financial policy.

Financial policy:
Our financial policy for all new clients requires payment at the time of service. We accept cash, checks, and credit cards. If your horse needs emergency treatment when you are not physically present, we will provide care, and send you an invoice which is due upon receipt. In the event that you incur an account balance, a finance charge will be added of 1.5% per month or $5.00, whichever is greater. If payment is not remitted within 30 days of statement receipt, we will be unable to continue providing care for your animals. A returned check fee of $30 is applied to any bounced checks.
